Tap FT to enter whole feet (or cycle to yards/miles), and IN to enter inches — tap a fraction tile below it to add a fractional inch like 3/8" or 5/16". The display always shows the running total as feet-inches-fraction, with a secondary readout in your choice of unit (tap it to cycle through ft, in, yd, m, cm, mm).
Use +, −, ×, ÷ to chain multiple measurements together — handy for totaling a run of studs, adding up cut lengths, or splitting a board into equal sections without converting fractions by hand.
